Energy Throughout History
STUDENTS WILL SEARCH FOR INFORMATION ABOUT SOME FAMOUS SCIENTIST THROUGHOUT HISTORY - SCIENTISTS WHO CHANGED THE COURSE OF THE WORLD WITH THEIR DISCOVERIES OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENERGY. STUDENTS WILL ALSO ACQUIRE AN APPRECIATION OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE SCIENTISTS' FINDINGS IN OUR EVERYDAY MODERN LIVES, WHICH ARE MORE COMFORTABLE AND EFFICIENT THANKS TO THEIR WORK.
Students will write a biography about the following scientists:
- Watt
- Faraday and Henry
- Newton
- Einstein
- Maxwell
- Da Vinci
The biographies will include the following parts:
- Historical background
- Details about personal life
- Work
- The value and importance of their work and its application in today's society.
